Honestly, I don't believe any politician cares about me, but I trust Dems a wee bit more than Repubs.

Because they seem to be the only ones that try to express moral guidelines. I'm more of an independent, and I'm tired of the agendas I see coming out of the democratic party. They seem to not believe in having any strong nuclear family goals/guidelines, and as a result, their agendas are hurting our country. All politicians seem to have less than ideal integrity - BUT the republicans seem to stand stronger for what is right and good for the long haul, not what makes us "feel good" at the moment. And, by the way, it's silly to think that democrats aren't affected by lobbyists on behalf of many groups too. If the democrats showed wisdom, the ability to make up their minds and stick with it (remember "flip-flop"...) and have guts and integrity and didn't follow the pro-abortion & pro-gay agendas so obviously, they would get more of a following from the religious folks.

What makes Democrats think their party is not tied to huge corporate interests & merchant banks?? There are some things in the history of the Democrat party that make me wonder about your "party of God" assertation. Consider slavery. Consider civil rights. Democrats opposed both of these. Besides, all the lefty stuff gets passed when Dems are on the outs. Look at all of Nixon's additions to the public weal. All big lefty deals (Except for getting out of Vietnam. Johnson's boys were making a lot of dough there).
Mostly, the richest and most powerful people in the Oligarchy are "liberal". Look at George Soros, Warren Buffett, and Ted Turner .Their notion is that we need to be cared for like children or pets ( or Slaves). Why did the Rockefellers fund communism repeatedly? Aren't they supposed to be enemies? Why aren't we taught the Communist holocaust in schools?
Lastly, I don't think things are great, either. I'm guessing I have a few years on you though, because Liberals have been in charge for most of my life. The change is more than welcome.
The difference between the two major parties is rhetorical only They are the red and blue divisions of the U.S. National Socialists Regime.
Have a nice day!

As per usual, you don't have a clue of what you're talking about! There are more millionaire Dems than Repubs, the Dems MAY have been "the party of God" when they controlled the South but certainly are not today, and the Repubs do not "play the God card", the anti-God Dems do! Without business you have no working class, ever thought about that? I could go on & on but replying to an inaminate object is a waste of time.

Republicans don't care about ME. It isn't about ME. Republicans care about providing opportunities for prosperity and freedom to all Americans, not just isolated groups of people. I don't need special government programs to help ME, just a level playing field with as few government obstacles to success as possible.

Democrats the party of God? Be sure to bring that up to God when your facing him...I'm sure he'll need a good laugh. Maybe you can explain the abortion thing to him...
As far as lobbyists...do you think Democrats aren't controlled by them? Lets see...the abortion industry, the alcohol lobby, the trial lawyers association...blah, blah, blah...both parties suck up to them...

I've certainly never thought that they cared about me! Unlike many of them, I actually have to work for a living! Also, since I'm a woman and I'm not a Christian fundamentalist, I know that it's definitely not in my best interests to vote Republican!

Wake up....the Democrats have been co-opted by anti-religious communists who will raise taxes to levels unheard of in this country and create the largest welfare failure in the history of the world.

Because everyone but you is an a$$hole and a moron. Is that what you want to hear?
Everyone but you is an a$$hole and a moron.
Now f--k off and die so the rest of us can ask objective questions and get into some mature dialogue to exchange ideas.
