Elliot was good, yeah, but Michael McDonald ruled!

TOTALLY ELLIOT YAMIN!!! Even though Elliot wasn't always hitting the right keys, he sounds WAY better than Michael McDonald. Michael McDonald brought the Doobie Brothers to a painful death. His singing is like fingernails on a chalkboard. If you hold a dog underwater for 10 seconds it would make noises that sound just like Michael McDonald's singing!! (However, I wouldn't try it!!)

I'm a pretty big fan for both...I rooting for Elliot to win...but I will ahve to say Michael McDonald...Elliot started a little too high and i thought "What is he going to do once the rockets red glare comes?!" and sure enough he did his own artistic interpretation of it but it wasn't as good as i would've hoped for...definitely not a worst performance but not better than mr. McDonald who looked much older than he normally does.
