Yes and no. I mean it's all I know so...I guess it's not so bad. I mean it's not like japanese where they talk forever just to say one thing.
When I think too hard on it yeah it is weird.

I don't think English is a weird language because it's the one I was taught from birth. However, it is one of the most difficult languages to learn! So many words mean the same thing - and so many words are spelled differently but sound the same. I don't envy anyone that has endeavored to learn the English language but I admire their tenacity a great deal.

Trust me it is not only weird, but it can also be hard at times, especially if you speak the street slang of English, and you are asked to take a test on writing proper English, you might be so use to speaking a broken language, you might just get a little confuse when writing a proper dialect.

Yup! It's not fully structured like other languages. If you look at the history of the English language, you will see how weird it is. Wanna know more?

English is a language of contradictions. As soon as you learn a rule, you find a word that is an exception to the rule. It's because our language is developed from so many other languages. I am glad its my first language and I'm not trying to learn it!

It's a very hard language to learn. Especially when some words are "read" differently but spelled the same.

Yeah, it is a really odd language. Heard it's the hardest to learn. Seems pretty difficult to learn if you're not a native speaker. Glad it's my first and primary language.

It wouldn't be so weird if people (English speaking people in particular) would learn to speak the language properly.

At least with English, you do not have to know the gender of inanimate objects (chair, spoon, pen, etc) like some other languages.
