The same reason when you are in NJ crossing the walks you almost get hit by a NY'ER!!!!
Why is it that when a N.Yer drives on NJ highways they stay in the passing lane!!!??? Next to the PA PLATES HOLDING UP PROGRESS???

because most new yorkers, choose to live in jersey, as they want to flee the trafic stress of NYC!!!!!!!!!
