If you have an iPod Nano or an iPod Video, you can buy the Radio Remote add on from Apple, to turn it into a FM radio.
If that is not what you are looking for, you can easely record radio programs during the night (if you have broadband), copy them to your iPod and listen to them the following day.
If that is not what you are looking for, simply subscribe to some podcasts from the iTunes directory.

i dont think you can turn it into a Radio, but most stations have podscats you can download, check the local radio website and request it if its not there, stations do what listeners want, so make some noise if they arent doing it...
