Yes, they have a three headed monster on offense (Palmer, R. Johnson, C. Johnson). Plus the defense isn't to shabby either. And with the decline of the Patriots, and the Colts getting rid of Eddgrin the "Bungles" are primed to do damage in this year. I'll be puling for them to come out of the AFC.
LOL !

Cinci has a whole lot going for it, but it still has some weak spots. Even after adding aging vet DT Sam Adams, the team's D-line has question marks. The addition of FS Dexter Jackson shouldn't get the team's hopes up as he is seriously overhyped. The depth behind QB Carson Palmer is diminished without Jon Kitna. And the Bengals' 2006 draft class is disappointing, to say the least. I wouldn't say that the Bengals can't make it to the Super Bowl, but I will say that it will be a tough, tough battle for them.
And the "cheap shot"? Anyone who saw that play understood that it wasn't intentional. Von Oelhoffen, who used to play for the Bengals, had nothing but remorse for Palmer's injury afterwards & even Palmer has said he didn't think it was intentional. The best thing for the Bengals and their fans is to accept that injuries happen in the NFL & to focus on the upcoming season, IMHO.

Hell no they did nothing in the offseason that is going to sure up thier pourous run defense, despite adding Sad Adams. He is probably going to report overweight and is already past his prime. Not to mention Carson will not be ready to go when the season starts and Jared Wright is no John Kitna. Besides even if Carson were healthy, they still have defensive issues Imean if the low scoring Steelre or the high scoring colts can both put up 40 plus points on them c'mon!!!!!

Bengals were sooooo close last year and i totally think if the players can stay out of jail long enough that they have a serious chance of kickin some butt, especially now that Ben probably wont be a contender. WHO DEY!!

It wasn't a cheap shot. It is part of the game. Gamble hit Culpepper much cheaper and thats just the way the ball bounces.
Bengals have a chance of being a contender because of coaching and talent. I don't know if they will win but the do have a good chance.

There is a question inspired by the World Cup USA performance!!! WHO CARES ABOUT THE DAENG BGs? It is like the middle of baseball season, and the Reds aren't that bad either. Ph-leeease. Won't you say it is NFCs turn, just by the law of averages? I mean they sucked for so long, at some point they will wake up too. And don't forget the Indy. At some point, Manning the senior will run out of flops too.... But the striped kitties can compete, I'll give you that.

No. The Steelers are STILL the team to beat, we are WORLD CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD!!!!!! But also, you have to worry about the Ravens, and even Cleveland. I think that Cleveland wont be very good, but the Steelers are going to be very good, and so are the Ravens. Not to mention, the Patriots, Dolphins, Chiefs, Chargers, Broncos, and Colts. Everyone cant make the playoffs.

A contender, yes. Super Bowl Champs, probably not. Carson is too much of a question mark after his injury.

Cincinnati won't be a superbowl contender because Carson isn't going to be in great shape.
