The books were made into a TV mini-series in the U.K. by a BBC production company in the mid-80's, I've only saw part of them replayed on public television here in the U.S., help please......they really should do a big budget feature film....

no one else i know remembers that, it was on when i was about 6 and it terrified me, i used to hide behind the settee. i'd love to see it now tho, sure i'd have a good giggle.
