Because you are looking at your grass by looking down, whereas you are looking at the grass on "the other side" by looking across at it at an acute angle. So you see more blade surfaces when you look across, and the blade surfaces are greener than the tops an sides you see looking down on your own grass.

probably because we always want what we don't have already. What ever happened to being happy with what we got? Then again why does my grass have bald spots and my neighbors is lush and full?
