On September 1, Germany invaded Poland.
Germany invaded Denmark and Norway on April 9, 1940,
On May 10, 1940, the Germans invaded Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, ending the Phony War
Germans to invade Yugoslavia on April 6.
On April 27, German forces entered Athens which was followed by the end of organized Greek resistance.
