It's possible that the bleeding could have been a really early miscarriage, especially because you had a positive test result which means that you are pregnant. If it is only spotting, light bleeding and not heavy, then it's not a miscarriage -most likely just a result from your hormones fluctuating to accomodate the pregnancy. If it is heavier bleeding, bright red, and accompanied with cramps, then it is most likely a miscarriage. Call or see your doctor to determine for sure, because depending on the miscarriage, you might need a D&C to clear out your uterus after the miscarriage.

Goodluck to you!

A miscarriage is the loss of a pregnancy before 20 weeks and it is nature's way of ending a pregnancy that is not developing normally. The length of the pregnancy will effect the number and severity of miscarriage symptoms.

A miscarriage that takes place shortly after conception can occur as a slightly late, slightly heavy period. Symptoms can vary from person to person, but there are common ones that generally occur:

Bleeding. This can range from brownish spotting to heavy bleeding. It is important to note that many women experience spotting or bleeding during pregnancy and about 50% of the time, the pregnancy progresses normally.
Pain or cramping in the lower abdominal area. The pain could be on just one side, both sides, or in the middle. You may also experience pain in the genitals, lower back, thighs, or buttocks.
You may notice that pregnancy symptoms like nausea and breast tenderness have subsided or lessoned. Be aware that some women do not notice any change in these symptoms, while others do.
Some women say that didn't "feel right" just prior to their symptoms.
If you are pregnant and experiencing symptoms you should contact your health care provider. If any of the following symptoms occur you should go the Emergency Room immediately:

Heavy bleeding
Passing clots or something that looks like tissue (bring the tissue to the hospital in a clean container)
A fever higher than 100.4 degrees F
Dizziness or fainting
A history of tubal (or ectopic) pregnancy
Severe vomiting
Severe pain the abdomen or back
If you have any uncertainty about the need to contact your health care provider, call him or her immediately.

You should go to the doctor or er and be checked cause if you are in fact pregnant you need to know why you were bleeding. They can do a blood test on you and be able to tell if you are miscarrying or an ultrasound.
But you can also bleed while pregnant and it is totally normal but either way go and see your doctor
Good luck

It could have been a miscarriage or you could still be pregnant. Some women bleed even when they are pregnant around the time they would have normally started their periods. You should go to the doctor as soon as possible. Take another pregnancy test now if you want to. If it is positive again you know it is one or the other. Good Luck I hope everything is ok for you.

It could have been a miscarriage or you tested to early and received a false positive.

I think more than likey you had a miscarriage and you should see a doctor as soon as you can to make sure everything is okay.

I hope that was helpful.

It's unlikely that you miscarried, unless you were bleeding VERY heavily and had major cramping along with the bleeding. It's very common to experience some light bleeding or spotting when pregnant. You should definitely go get checked out if you're concerned.

Good Luck!

Your doctor will probably test your HCG levels if you call and tell them what happened, because there really is no way to know for sure unless they keep a close eye on those numbers over the next week! I hope you get good news back :)

It is possible but bleeding doesn't necessarily mean it was a misscarriage. I bled for a whole month while being pregnant and didn't even know i was pregnant. I suggest going to a doctor and get a urine test to find out for sure.
