When the Berlin wall came down there was a large group of people in Germany who were upset. I'm sure some of them are still alive and remenice fondly of the days of Lenin. There is a movie that came out about a year ago called "Goodbye Lenin" about a woman who went into a coma in the 80s and then woke up 20 years later to find the wall, and communism gone in Berlin. Her son has to help her learn how to live in this new united country. It's a good movie, and it might help you understand the different points of view regarding communism in German
