no they make their money from advertising like all mags and newspapers! Hope they don't though...u never know

I hope they don't. Why would I pay to send and get emails? I already pay for my internet connection and they get a lot of money with advertising. I think that's enough. We have to pay for too many things, now.

i started here in june 1996 when it was still called http://www.geopages.com/ then in october 1996 it became http://www.geocities.com/
i've used this place so much i'm surprised they haven't made me buy them a new server. âº

No, They can't charge. because of this, they are earning more through add's etc

they can't charge because they have to keep up with google.
