I know they're cute. I loved them until they started destroying my landscaping. Now they have to go. Dead or alive, I want them gone. I've tried mouse traps with peanut butter with small success. Any sure fire answers?

Poison peanuts/wheat work. These are made by the W. R. Sweeney Company. Just leave them out in several locations where you have seen them. Make sure you refill as often as you need to. My guess is that you have so many, killing just a few is not putting a dent in the population. After a few weeks, you will find it is unnecessary to re-fill as often, then not at all. They WILL be gone!

I am amazed of the people out there that get all bent out of shape out of removing rodents. Chip monks are just that. A rodent, as is a rat or a mouse. They are destructive, dirty, and need to be removed. Several years ago, my parents had to have their poured patio removed because these cute little critters tunneled under it to the point it caused it to lower several inches and eventually cracked in two.

Give all the animal/roden lovers a week to clear them out and then the rest they cannot remove, you can. My guess is you won't get one acceptance to your offer.

5-10 chipmunks, cut into serving pieces
Maggi Jerk seasoning

Place meat in a large ziplock bag and cover with the jerk seasononing. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Overnight is better.

Line a 9 x 13 baking pan with foil. Make the foil big enough so you can fold over the top and seal.

Place the meat on the foil and season with garlic, salt, & pepper.

Wrap the foil over the top and seal. Bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees.

Serve with your favorite side dishes.

Put moth balls by your flowers and plants. That will get rid of squirrels and other animals too.

mothballs are o.k. but animals are starting to build up a immunity to them a good product out there is called deer off its a liquid that repels most animals you can find it at home depot or critter ridder but that will repel cats and dogs as well. or just go to your local nursery and ask for coyote urine it smells bad but it works.

If you have a cat--you have a solution. Jam cat poop from the litterbox in their holes. Works every time.
