well, I'd rephrase that question, because if your 'car won't start' using a KEY, then it won't start hot wiring it.

first unlock the wheel, then jump a wire from the pos battery cable to the distributor marked coil or pos. then arc the starter solenoid pos cable to the smaller terminal to the right
