Well, the answer isnt hotwiring. The problem with telling you hot to hotwire a vehicle is that God knows if youre actually telling the, or how many car thieves in training are reading your post. In any event, check the batter, alternator and starter. If everything looks good on the outside, then grab a hammer or any other blunt object and smack the sh-* out of your starter a couple of times. Attempt starting the vehicle. If this does not work, call a mechanic and get it fixed. Ka-Boom

You hot wire a car by shoving a hot pocket into the ignition.

well, I'd rephrase that question, because if your 'car won't start' using a KEY, then it won't start hot wiring it.

Tow the car to where you can get the ignition fixed.
