Would you be happy to be in a nursing home when your time comes (just like the grandpa in the simpsons) or would you rather have a house with a garden and just live there until you die?

I say you get what you give. If you invested very little time and money in your kids, they will do the same when you are old. My sons already told me they are each gonna build me a house right next to theirs so I can live by them. I hope they all live in the same neighborhood! I love my kids and they love me enough not to put me in a horrid nursing home, which is not only cruel, but a waste of money.

I would love to think that I'll live to be 90, fit and healthy, but if I were to become a burden to my children, yes I would like to go to a nursing home.

I would be with people my own age, have regular medical care and still be available to my children without disrupting their lives
