Plaster of Paris, chicken wire and newspapers. Paper Mache casts. Google paper mache and see what I'm talking about.

mix flour water to make a some what paste then take strips of news paper dipped in the "plaster" and use a dummy or a person to make the cast then cut it in half along the sides so it can be removable. after that you can paint it to make it look real.
