Hmm, if you are telling the truth, then you are lying, but if you are lying, then you are telling the truth. This is a classic Paradox, there is no answer, My brian is begining to hurt.

if i did always lie i would say i always lie, because that would be the truth. but since i dont lie, and said "i always lie" then i would just be lying again.

you are telling the truth but that means you didnt lie one time so when you say i always lie you are lying because you said the truth when you said i always lie........get it?

When you say you always lie, you briefly step back from your walk of life (or your reality) to point it out. So what you are saying is the truth for your walk of life. You in essence become two people, and tell on your (other) self.

this paradox was used in Star Trek's "I MUDD" episode. Kirk told the android that everything Mudd said was a lie. Then Mudd said " now listen carefully, I'm lying" It burned out the android. It did not compute and they were not programmed to respond in that area. You could go crazy, but think about it, EVERYONE lies at some point in their life.

hmmm... it gets you thinking... it has to be a lie because not everything a person says is a lie... they may come pretty close to always be telling a lie but there has to be something truthful in something that they say
