It sounds like you have more than one. Goldfish need at least 10 gallons per fish- they have very different needs then other tropical fish.
Fish get sick because the water is not healthy. That's it.
Chances are you have too many fish in your tank. Nature is fixing that problem for you. She is killing off the weakest fishies to balance your little ecosystem.
What you can do to help the remaining fish is solve the problem before nature does. Pick out the appropriate number of fish for your tank. If you have 5 in a 20 gallon then pick your favorite 2 and bring the other 3 back to the pet store.
You should also do a partial water change. 25% of the water and vacuum the gravel.
Your goldfish will grow incredibly fast if given the proper conditions and live much longer. It may seem like your tank looks empty for a while but you need patience- these are not decorations they are animals. They deserve the proper living conditions.
If you prefer a tank with a lot of small fish then buy a heater and switch to community tropical.
If you suspect they have a disease then check out this website is has great photos for diagnosing. Chances are even if they are sick if you fix their water conditions then they will kick the disease themselves.
Good luck!!!

Are you over feeding them?
Did you recently clean the tank with some sort of cleaner and not properly rinse it out?
Do you have a bubbler?
Are the filters working good?
Where did you get them?
How old are they?
Is the water too warm or too cold?

you will need a filter of some type and this should help you establish some good bacteria in your tank.
Unfortunatly, water in a bowl with air will not support fish for a very long time.

Do you have Anti-Chlorine fluid?
Did you adjust them to the water?
Do you have plenty of plants?
Also, go by the rule, every inch of fish, they must have atleast 1 gallon of water.
