the best band CURRENTLY playing music is Iron Maiden.
they have been around for close to THIRTY YEARS and they still headline festivals and sell out 80-100,000 seat venues to this day.
that's staying power. that's the greatest band.

Hard question. Well I don't like the beatles and find their music just boring and annoying. Its sad that I like their old stuff more than their later stuff. The Eagles has got to be a top one because they had a crazy number of hits i.e. Desperado and Hotel California. Also, they have the highest selling album in the history of the U.S. Thriller is number one world wide. Boyz II Men is also up thier.

Best is U2, second best is INXS. Why b/c U2 has been around for so long and still makes the best music in my opinion and can change their music to fit the times but still stay true to themselves. INXS b/c they had Michael Hutchence.
