I learned that God loved me so much, that He had a plan for me to have a close relationship with Him, much like a parent who adopts a child. He is my heavenly Father, and wants only the best for me. He also wants me to want a relationship with Him on a daily basis, not just in church or when times are tough. Living a life that's pleasing to Him is my life now, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. You see, I learned what true love really is. It's all about putting others first. To get true joy into your life, this is my recipe...
J...Jesus first....O....Others second...Y...Yourself last. When you put those things into their proper perspective, everything else falls into place. Life, though hard at times, can be lived simply by following that recipe. This is the greatest thing I've ever learned. <*)))><

No matter what anyone promises you, no matter what the politicians or priests say - YOU are the only one you can truly always count on. That's not to say that everyone else is fake, or less human. But other people come and go, it's the nature of life. So it is in everyone's best interest to ensure that they can make it on their own, without depending on anyone else. It is foolish not to.

To be tolerant with other people ideas, respect all of them and know that nobody is never 100% right and that the only thing in this world that is 100% sure is that we are not living forever.

Life tends to contradict everything you live by in terms of your principals, beliefs and values. What you have to do though is to keep on believing in them because if you give up on those things its like giving up your very reason for living.

i would have to say that there is one thing that i have learned in life that i will never forget and i tell myself this everyday... you really can't rely on anyone but yourself and all the challenges in life that you have to face will only make you stronger not just physically but emotionally also...
i have also always loved the saying...
you can achieve just as much as you dream if you put your all into it.. my grandma told me that just before she past away..
