I am working for a hedge fund middle office for the past 2 yrs. I would like to move up in the asset management field but not sure which field. Any suggestions???

If you want to be a fund manager of a hedge fund, you gotta be really smart, good at math and quantitative skills and finance.

For now you may try to be a trader on the investment desk. Do a CFA if you can..
