The true fact is it really does get lost in the dryer. I know this for a fact because I had to take my dryer apart one time when it was broke. I found several of my socks behind the inside of the drum of the dryer. So, that's where the socks REALLY go.

The dryer like to eat my socks...I swear i lose just about 1 pair every couple of like 2-3 months. it kinda makes me mad...then i I throw a fit. But then i forget about it. Its called the dryer monster...kinda like the cookie monster...except for it doesn't eat cookies...it eats my socks!!! Hey, what happened..I am missing a sock *looks around*.

Okay my mother has a Idea.. it's a conspiracy between the sock companys and the dryer companys... they make it too where you know how theres a gap above the basket? they put it there so that the socks get cought and so when everything goes as planned you buy new socks

Maybe it gets left in the bottom of the hamper or in the washer. Thats what happens to me.

Have you tried clipping or pinning them together before you put them in the washer?
