The true fact is it really does get lost in the dryer. I know this for a fact because I had to take my dryer apart one time when it was broke. I found several of my socks behind the inside of the drum of the dryer. So, that's where the socks REALLY go.

Okay my mother has a Idea.. it's a conspiracy between the sock companys and the dryer companys... they make it too where you know how theres a gap above the basket? they put it there so that the socks get cought and so when everything goes as planned you buy new socks

Have you tried clipping or pinning them together before you put them in the washer?
