Im 16 and i want to become a tattoo artist. yes i know u have to be an aprentience first.

To do them commercially,in a shop,I believe it may differ from state to state..Missouri is 21... Ks. is 18..so check where you live to be sure..Age may not be important when apprenticing..Age matters to the health department thats all.. good luck!

There is no true apprenticeship program for tattoo artists, but you do need training and practice. In most states you need to be 18 to RECEIVE a tattoo w/o parents permission, it makes sense that 18 would be the minimum age to BECOME a tattoo artist.

I do not see how the quantity of tattoos you might have might have whatever to do with how good you tattoo. It would possibly make a few humans unseasy, however I might be simply first-rate having an artist with a million first-rate piece.

I think it differs from state to state, at least 18,I would call the heath department or a local tattoo shop in your area to find out. good-luck!

You could of become one yesterday. You can do tattoo out of your basement. So, you could actually do them when you are 3 month old.
