She was at the doctor but he said it was a throat problem and gave her tablets, and said that she will be ok, but after some days the same thing has been repeated? Do you think that this is very serious? Also she should change the doctor maybe???

Yes she needs to see an ENT, an ear, nose and throat specialist. She could have an obstruction in her throat or some other problem. She should see someone immediately.

Have her go to a Ear -Nose and Throat specialist. A regular doctor will do the bare mininium but a specialist will look down her throat with a scope and maybe there is a problem.

I have the same problem and the doctor told me it was the lining in my throat. I have lived with this all my life, just make sure that your relative keeps her throat moist at all times.

In my opinion, I would see a alternative practitioner. Many doctors just want to pump you up with drugs, which can be very bad and unnecessary.

go to another doctor, and ask him/her to check it out.
