Ok, lets start with the First Day of my Last Period, which was on May 22, 2006. Ok, according to atleast 3 Ovulation Calendars, I ovulated on June 5, 2006. Ok, I had Sex on June 2, June 3, June 4, and June 13. I have taken one pregnancy test which was on the 9th of June. I know that WAS WAY TOO early. Ok, then today is June 14, 2006. Just yesterday, my breasts have become a lil sore, but it is a different kind of soreness than when they are sore before I have my period. They kinna feel like they are little full. I have had an increase in Cervical mucus and saliva, and I my nipples become erect sometimes for no reason at all. According to my chart, My next period should start around the 19th to the 22cd of June. So what I am wanting to know is it still too soon to take a test. Father's day is Sunday, June 18, and I would love to surprise the daddy for Father's day. So with it being June 14th, Can and could I take a second pregnancy test. Thank you for your answers!!!!

There is one more thing that I forgot to add, Starting yesterday (6-13-06) evening, I am also noticing flu-like and/or cold symptoms, like stuffy nose, sore throat, and fever.

Sorry, one more thing, Should it really matter what time of the day I take the test? With my first pregnancy 9 years ago, I took it in the evening, and the test still shows the results the results until this day. I still have it.

Give it a try! It can't hurt! You should take it early in the morning with your first pee. That is when the highest amount of pregnancy hormones are running through your system and it's more likely to be accurate.

CONGRATULATIONS!! (if you are pregnant)

If you ovulated on June 5th then you could have gotten pregnant anywhere from the 4th to the 6th just because ovulation depends on how many days are in your cycle. An egg is only viable for 24 hours. You did take the test too early. A fertilized egg takes 6 to 12 days to plant itself in your uterus. This is when the hormone HCG will start showing in your urine. A home pregnancy test can detect pregnancy between 12 and 15 days after fertilization. EPT is the best pregnancy test. Take the test again in a few more days or go to the doctor and get a blood test which is more accurate. Good luck!

Go for it! the test should be able to tell you now. I took a test before I missed my period and I was pregnant. You might want to take it in the morning as you first pee of the morning would have the strongest concentration of the pregnancy hormone. Good luck and that is going to be some surprise!

by the way, the earlier you find out the longer you have to wait! They say about 40 weeks until you have the baby. I knew two weeks in, that was the longest 38 weeks of my life. :)

If your last period was May 22, 2006 and you are pregnant than you are due February 22, 2007. It is not to early to take a pregnancy test. If your breasts are sore that is a sign of pregnancy. I say take the test and find out. Good luck and congratulations if you are.

Best to wait till you have missed a period! The soonest you can take a pregnancy test and get a positive test result is seven days after ovulation but you should try to wait to take a pregnancy test until 10-12 days after ovulation (Home pregnancy tests can be positive as early as 10 days after fertilization - a couple of days before you miss your period.)

Well its a little too early to take a pregnancy tests because normally you would want to wait at least two weeks after the intercourse. But its not too early to take a pregnancy blood test. You should take the pregnancy test in the morning when you first wake up the when the things in your urine is high and the pregnancy would give you a better result.

I would buy one of thoses tests with more than one test stick in the box. I also would wait until Sat morning to test. I know the wait is agonzing, but the longer you wait then the better the test will work. I just found out and I am now at 7 weeks along. We are going to tell family on father's day too!

Well I would say that it might be a tad bit too soon but every person is different. I never got a positive until after my period was due to start but that was just me. Buy a First Response and test with first morning urine to get the best results.

I think if you waited until Friday so you will be a bit closer to your projected first day you might have better luck. Also if you do get a bfp (big fat positive) you won't have to wait too many days to tell Daddy.

GOOD LUCK!

you could try to take the test on saturday or sunday morning but really it sounds like you have a cold or something
when your pregnant you dont run a fever
and you dont get a sore throat
so it sounds to me like you probley just have a cold but you can try the next test saturday or early sunday morning good luck with that

Generally, you should wait two weeks before taking the test. Best of luck to you and your family!

ps: first thing in the morning is the best time to take the test.
