I have to agree with you. Men's tastes vary whether they are White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, etc. Though I think if you ask them, most men, across the board, no matter what their race, would agree that they would rather a woman with breasts than a flat chested woman! How many white guys do you know have ever said "look at that girl... damn she hot.. she has absolutely no t*ts!" Come on! If guys didn't like breasts woman wouldn't be spending money on boob jobs.

I am a black man, probably not the perspective you were really looking for but I will give it anyway. First, I LOVE WOMEN. All shapes, sizes, colors, but I am picky on attitudes. Generally, I like my girls short and thick (5'2 - 140ish), B cup preferably, with some curves; however there's nothing wrong with a 5'8 120 lb with large breasts either.
My perfect woman is one thing, but a woman to fall into my "she's attractive" category isn't all that hard. I think I find about 50% of women attractive. White girls, mexicans, and light skinned asians are generally better looking before 25, black girls and darker asians are gorgeous older women.
The first criteria for someone to be considered is a cute face. Then, if it is summer I look at the girl's arms, first it isn't as obvious I am checking her out, second it is a great indicator of her body. The upper arm usually must be noticeably larger than the forearm. This sounds like most women but some are so skinny their arms are just like sticks.
I actually prefer some pudge in the mid-section, I think a little is really cute, better than flat. I like legs and thighs thick, obviously a butt and some hips as well. I do love long hair, generally the longer the better. Pretty eyes are a plus, but most black women have brown eyes, and I am very partial to them.
By the way, I want to see a picture of those hips!!!

I think that we live in a society where women who have curves are considered fat. Myself being a curvy Mexican, I sometimes feel compelled to over exert my body in hopes of becoming the thin slinky women everyone idolizes, then it hit me. I am beautiful, and I can starve to death and run 10 miles a day and I will never get rid of my curves, they come with the heritage! As for your debate, all men love curves! Some might be more discreet about it than others, but whole songs, poems and movies have been written about curvy women, may I mention "baby got back" So think of it as casual envy, you're obviously a curvy woman, maybe she just wishes she had a tiny bit of your curvage!

Firstly, your roommate needs to learn to avoid using absolutes in debate. There is almost no way to win her argument, which will fail if even a single contrary example is found.
HOWEVER, where she says "All," the word "Most" can easly be used. I do agree with her claims then, and apparently so do my personal black and latino male friends with whom I have had this discussion many times.
I am a white HETERO male, and I prefer women that are FIT, not FAT. Anorexia is not healthy, and not pretty. Obesity is not healthy nor pretty. Large breasts are nice, but MY personal preference is for NATURAL breasts of whatever size. Artificial enhancement LOOKS really great, but doesn't feel the same. We just don't have the technology to match the handiwork of God. So unless the lady had a medical need for the procedure, I don't see a reason for it other than raising her sexual "stock."
MELISSA B has the perfect grasp on the economics of this in her comment on breast enhancement. Women wouldn't DO as much it if it didn't attract MEN so effectively. (She's really cute, too).
I find a LOT of excuses are made for obesity, and none are valid. One answer used the word, "Thick" another "Curvy" and in my observation both terms among others are used to cover up the correct description of "obese."
Modern biometrics DOES give an "ideal" ratio of relative body parts. An ADULT (developing adolescents are too variant) woman's bust and hips should be about the same size and that measurement should be about 10 inches larger than her waist measurement. Her NECK and CALVES should be about the same size, and that measuement should be about 10-15 inches smaller than her waist. Her total body weight in US pounds can be compared to her height in inches. Her weight in US pounds should not be less than 1.5 times her height nor more than 2.75 times her height in inches. Either extreme borders on health risks. Do the math and see. .All of these are just FINE give or take 10-15 %. THAT is a scientific definition of "Height/Weight Proportionate" and nothing else will do.
For a woman, if her weight in US pounds is more than 3.25 times her height in inches, she is morbidly OBESE to a life-threatening degree.
BIG is NOT BEAUTIFUL. Personally, I don't want to have to carry a piece of chalk when I am with a woman.

Ummmm...hello, your friend needs to realize that ALL MEN ARE DIFFERENT IN SOME WAY>>>>YES I SAID ALL! Not every man likes the exact same thing...just like not every woman does. My ex was skinny, and thought I could stand to lose weight. My HUSBAND, is built FORD tough...lol, and he loves my @$$ and hips. Then, there are other guys, recently, who have made the comment to me that they like the way I look...THICK is what I hear a lot. SO, If I had to go with the majoriity, I would say that times are changing. Years ago perhaps, white men like skinny women MORE than thick women, but times, they are a changin! Now a days, men have learned to appreciate a nice @$$!

Well, tell her this, I am a big beautiful woman, in other words I have more than enough curves, and I have had white men, black men, Latino men, middle eastern men and so on hit on me and want to............take me home and...............I'll leave the rest to your imagination.
It's individual preference, and it's been my experience that race makes no real difference.
And don't worry about your hips, I'll tell you the same thing I tell my 13 year old daughter who yes has a j-lo butt, there are women out there paying thousands of dollars to get the curves you have naturally and if you like your body men will love it.

Different strokes for different folks! But I'd say the majority of men (of all races) would like a woman with some curves! Your friend must be shapeless!

definitely depends on they guy, but even though in Hollywood it is better to be waif like in the real world curves are preferred. I don't know a single guy who doesn't like a girl to have a round behind and NONE of the guys I know think Paris Hilton's body is anything other than nasty.

as a muslim when we are choosing a spouse we a recommended by our prophet to be attracted to the person and then check if they are practing islam. then u can marry.
so i would say from this saying that the prophet is not giving a certain size or figure of a man or women but it means everyone has diff tases. and to choose wisely who u marry.
hope this helped
personally, attraction is important.
but one should not judge a woman just for the size of her bust and not her brains

I am a white 22 year old male and i am particularly fond of women with curves. i am not a big fan of stick women. A woman with nice hips, thighs, and butt....like my fiance....is what I really like.
