To say that Clinton was better than Bush would be an understatement. Some people claim that they prefer Bush over Clinton because Bush has better morals. Excuse me, but sending thousands off to fight in a war that's based on a lie is ten times more immoral than get o**l sex from someone other than your wife and then lying about it!
By the way, Bush may not be the God-fearing, faithful husband so many people think he is. Some reports claim that he has been carrying on an affair with Condoleezza Rice and that Laura Bush has been living at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C.
God, I miss Clinton!

You can't really compare the two like that. Clinton did not have to deal with the most devastating attack on American soil at the beginning of his administration. I'm sure if 9/11 had not happened things in America would be vastly different. Has Bush made some mistakes, YES. Did Clinton make mistakes, YES. We all make mistakes. It's part of being human. Overall, I think Bush has done a good job considering the circumstances, and Clinton flat out LIED to the American people.

President Clinton.
His policies created the best economy of my working life. It also gave us a SURPLUS, which has since been squandered by Bush.
He would have got even more done if it hadn't been for the 8 year witch-hunt by his political enemies. (I really don't care about his private life)
I didn't expect much from him in 1992, but he turned out to be among the best presidents in the last century.
He is also not brain damaged by alcohol abuse.
Bush on the other hand:
Ignored warnings, from the Clinton Administration, that left us vulnerable to the 911 attacks.
Invaded Iraq, which had nothing to do with 911, but everything that had to do with getting his daddy's nemesis, Saddam Husein.
Striped civil rights from all of us.
Ignores the Geneva conventions.
Alienated our allies.
Reintroduced "Stagflation." (Very bad economy that lasted from the 1970's well into the 1980's, featuring high unemployment, high inflation, high 'misery index')
Gave big tax cuts to those who don't need a break.
Stymied stem-cell research, in the USA, because of his religious beliefs.
His "No Child Left Behind" leaves all children behind the rest of the world.
Ignores The Constitution, The Bill of Rights and any other law he deems 'inconvenient.' (for this he should be impeached and removed from office)
Values loyalty over competence when making any nomination or appointment.
...need I say more? There is plenty more!

clinton, you already answered the question for us-best economy, no wars, no deficiet in budget actually the highest surplus in history, and more financial aid for college students. clinton cheated on his wife but bush is cheating the country, which is worse? no contest-clinton would beat bush in a landslide elction like he did with bob dole. lets look at bush's resume-one stolen election, lied about an unjustified war, has the most corrupt vice president in history who shot his friend in his back (need i say more), biggest deficeit in history, and prices are going up while saleries are not adjusted for inflation, tax cuts for the wealthy, the only people benefitting from a bush presidency are people making over 100,000 a year, and he is so stubborn and secretive that he doesnt talk to the press- at leat clinton was a man and faced the press no matter the controversy, and we were respected around the world unlike now, everbody hates our guts except tony blair who is a liar like bush.. this is not a question, this is common sense people.

I am so glad that we have Bush as our president. I'm sorry, but Clinton lost all respect from me when he cheated on his wife, and I lost all respect for her when she just decided it was okay, because she wanted to further her political career. Bush is a God-fearing man, doing what he thinks is best for our country. I would take someone who doesn't give eloquent speeches, but is honest in what he does any day. If Clinton could lie to his wife, why do you think that the general public should be able to have trusted him on any level?

Hey Dipsh*t do some research Clinton inherited the GREAT economy from Reaganomics....Bush inherited the sh*tty economy from it as well...if you would read a book instead of watching CNN..you'd know that Reagan foretold the economy under Clinton and Bush II....Clinton had no morals, and no principles..He was great speaker, and smart enough not to screw up what Regan put in place. Conversely, Bush is not well-spoken...but I feel He does what He feels is right as opposed to Left-Wingers like Clinton,Kerry, etc. who would do what they think will get them the most popularity.

ksowder63:... oh look there was a recession when Clinton took office... the economy was in shambles, gas prices were high, unemployment was high... the democrats could have run a trained monkey against Herbert and it would have won...
the Senior Bush did a great job wiping away anything that "Reaganomics" may have done well...
