There are creams designed specifically for wound and scar care. The most effective of them require a prescription, so you need to see your doctor. There are several over the counter remedies of varying effectiveness--search for "wound care" and you'll find a number of different products to try. It's not likely that the scars will be gone by February, or ever *entirely* gone, but you should be able to diminish their appearance. If it's really important that the scars not show, get a moisturizing coverup makeup in a tone that matches your hands (which may be different than the stuff you use on your face), and apply to your hand.

There is a scar remedy you can purchase in most pharmacies, but for deep scars you are probably going to have to go to a dematologist who practices plastic surgery. Good luck!!

Time is the only real thing. The products and vitamins may or may not work they seem to for some people and not for others. It probably depends on where the scar is as well.

the only thing you can do is go for laser surgery
but then it depends on the depth & the size of the scar too
it helps a bit but still does not remove the scar..

lotions & potions will not do anything trust me don;t waste your money on them...

Vitamin E works well. I just bought Scar Serum which contains cocoa butter, vitamin E, shark oil. It seems to be working pretty well.
