It is really pathetic that we look for some little sign that maybe, just maybe, he is going to get something right. Then he screws it up as usual.

the country needs different leaders in office at different times to maintain the balance of good, bad, and stupid in the US. If we had Clinton for ever most companies would of followed the Enron schemes because prosperity was the norm. And also with Clinton money was not being printed as rapidly as with bush so each year less money was going into the economy causing the US to raise interest rates. Everything else CLinton did was "awesome" and he did truly give us a leg up in the world. With Pelvic Hair I mean Bush we were able to buy houses at very good interest rates and were able to get tax breaks for education and show the world our power. Bush is an idiot but a necesary idiot to keep the balance in the US so that we do not reach a democratic extreme. Of course it is now time for a democrat back in office as we have to eventually have to have a some type of prosperity for those who make less than 3 billion dollars a year.

"I think if their was a Democrats in office at the time of the 911 attacks, we would still be getting attacked, because they don't do anything, all Clinton did was shoot a missile over their and hit a Camel in the a**, that was the extent of his protection. Then all he did was bomb the hell out of Bosnia, to get Milosevic out of office, he kept bombing until the Serbian people, protested to get rid of him, and Bosnia used to be our allies. Then he was offered Bin Laden and let him go. Oh yeah he was a good protector. Bush is doing a pretty good job, a least he was in the guard. Draft dodger Clinton couldn't be bothered he was to busy chasing pu**y. "
how can they do anything if they dont have the majority or the president as a democrat? I think the democrats are smart enough to do better than what the republicans are did, start the "war on terror" on a country that wasnt attacking or threating to attack us or had any wmd's as bush swore they did, and iraq had absolutely NOTHING to do with 9/11, i bet u didnt know that. republicans protected our county from people flying into our country, good job! they didnt do anything about the borders on canada until now, couldnt a terrorist fly to canada and then drive into america (they usually dont even check passports, ive driven from america to canada and back loads of times)
...
bush was possibly one of the worst presidents in history, and your right imagine cheney being president...id move to canada! i refuse to vote for hillary to, i heard that as soon as she gets into office shes gonna start a draft of 80,000+ people. Hopefully Al Gore runs and wins the 2008 election, if not im sure someone will run that better than her and hopefully win. I dont think hillary will get elected, i can just tell (not because she a women) but because i can tell she wont be president

Mike B, smart guy. I guess that makes you a good leader, you let everything go to hell so you can get a piece. Bush is trying and I think he is doing a pretty good job. Did everyone forget about the attacks??? Is this OK? I mean should we let them come in take over and destroy us? That is exactly what would have happened if we did not step in. All I can say is: GO BUSH!!! I am a republican and damn proud of it. To me democrats should really be called DUMBocrats.

Well, clearly "most" do not agree with you as the Republicans are still in office. And clearly you are an ignorant racist(if Cheney were another color would you have called him the great black hunter?). How very sad. Here you were TRYING to sound so very smart and failed miserably.
Better luck with your next question.

It seems to me that Bush was afraid of the big bad Zarqawi!!
So now that he is gone he can flex his muscles! ha!
As far as the great white hunter he and Karl Rove are the ones who pull the puppet strings on Bushie.
All I can say is that they are doing a heck of a job!!!

JOHN GLENN SAID
Things that make you think a little:
There were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January.
In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January. That's just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq.
When some claim that President Bush shouldn't have started this war, state the following:
1. FDR led us into World War II.
2. Germany never attacked us; Japan did. From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost ... an average of 112,500 per year.
3. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea. North Korea never attacked us. From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ... an average of 18,334 per year.
4.John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.
5. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire. From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost .. an average of 5,800 per year.
6. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent. Bosnia never attacked us. He was offered Osama bin Laden's head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions.
7. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and, North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.
The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking. But It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.
We've been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.
It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida!!!! Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB! The Military morale is high! The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts
But Wait .
There's more!
JOHN GLENN (ON THE SENATE FLOOR)

Some people still don't understand why military personnel do what they do for a living. This exchange between Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive impromptu speech, it is also a good example of one man's explanation of why men and women in the armed services do what they do for a living.
This IS a typical, though sad, example of what some who have never served think of the military.
Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn):
"How can you run for Senate when you've never held a real job?"
Senator Glenn (D-Ohio):
"I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps. I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn't my checkbook, Howard, it was my life on the line. It was not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the daily cash receipts to the bank."
"I ask you to go with me ... as I went the other day...to a veteran's hospital and look those men ... with their mangled bodies, in the eye, and tell THEM they didn't hold a job!
You go with me to the Space Program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee...and you look those kids in the eye and tell them that their DADS didn't hold a job.
You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in Arlington National Cemetery where I have more friends buried than I'd like to remember, and you watch those waving flags. You stand there, Howard, and you think about this nation, and you tell ME that those people didn't have a job?"
(For those who don't remember or know.. During W.W.II, Howard Metzenbaum was an attorney representing the Communist Party in the USA.)
Now He is a Senator!!
If you can read this, thank a teacher.
If you are reading it in English thank a Veteran.
(It might not be a bad Idea, to keep this circulating!! )
