may be problem with your mouse port, you did not mentioned that which port you are using for mouse, try different port.

Like Shakeel said, I'd check out the new motherboard's mouse PS/2 Port. Have you tried a USB mouse? Because if the USB works, then it would be the PS/2 port for you mouse on the new motherboard. Contact the vendor and demand a replacement motherboard.

Go back where they installed the new mother board and tell them the mouse doesn't work, have them fix whatever they messed up. Cause and effect. Worked before they worked on it, doesn't now, therefore....
BTW, Plural of the small rodent, mouse, is mice. Plural of the computer device, mouse, is mouses.

Alright it depends on what kind of mouse you have. If it has the rolly ball under it, then take it out and clean it... it may have hair or dirt under it that is preventing it from moving. If it doesnt have a ball, check your ports and MOUse icon under control panal

restart your computer, Check to see if your mouse cord came unpluged. If these don't work buy a new mouse. Or look at someone elses advise.
