Keep in mind, that you cannot possibly explain to anyone that you are a 30+ year old in a 7 year-old's body. They would lock you up and throw away the key.

I'm 38 (39 later this month), if it matters. I would not relive it. There was enough heartbreak and disappointment in that part of my life to make me NEVER want to relive it. I couldn't wait to grow up, and I still think I would feel the same way today. It all made me who I am today, and I have no desire to go back and change anything that would alter who I am now. I'm quite happy with what I've ultimately become now.

I think that if I knew then what I know now, I'd be a lot more bold about approaching the people I liked (both romantically and platonically). I wouldn't worry at all about what other people think. And I'd go up and ask any girl that I found attractive to go out with me...the worst that could happen is that she'd say no. Why was I so paralyzed growing up?

And I would always lay my cards out on the table in every situation. It got way too difficult trying to remember what I was supposed to say and think in different situations while growing up.

I think I'd believe in myself more. I'd take more risks (good risks like trying out for the play or asking someone out eventually.) I'd go out and make more friends and try to work through my fear instead of hiding from it. And I'd try to eat better so I wouldn't have to think about losing weight now.

I would not have as many regrets that I do in life b/c I would live knowing that I have to try. I can't be afraid to let people into my life b/c you never know what they could bring.
