I look at all the leading Hollywood bachelor lists and frankly they leave me cold, with one or two exeptions. All such puppies.

First off, leading men in Hollywood...are no longer "men" they are toys. A simple example...remember William Holden in Sunset Boulevard? He was only 32! Matt Damon is 36...does he look 36? No. He doesn't even look "manly" he still looks like a kid. (must be the moisturizers)

There are very very slim pickings for proper "men" in the world of Hollywood these days...skip it (it's pretty much all crap anyway) and just load up your TV with the classic movie channels and rent all the great classic films on DVD...a time when men were men and women were women and not the paper thin models of asexual glamor they try to get us to buy into.

Different strokes for different folks. Just like there is always someone for everyone, the same is true for hollywood idols. Some people will like the mature Clooney-esque look with the grey around the temples. While others will insist that the boy-toy took is what floats their boat. To each their own!

It's not age, it's society. All the guys that are "hot" in this generation look like, well something out of a gay magazine. Perfect abs, hairless. It's kind of gross, to me. Plus their faces are so bland, somehow. I like character, uniqueness. Give me a guy with a chipped tooth, hair on his chest, nose slightly too big. It's idiosyncrasies that give character to a person. Plus the bland, cookie cutter men get everything they want, so they're often lacking in personality, which is totally yucky!

I agree with Monitor...

There are no more leading 'men', or 'women' for that matter; only leading 'baby-faces'...

Clark Gable, Sean Connery, Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood...
Lauren Bacall, Marilyn Monroe, Anne Bancroft, Raquel Welch...
... Now THESE were truly leading "men" and "women"!

I'm afraid BEVERLY HILLS 90210 changed everything for the worse...

But, then again,... I'm 42.....:-(

Absolutely!
I'm 31, but every single man I find attractive is 40+. What is that? I suppose there is that allure of maturity and experience...

Hell NO! I'm in my prime 3- and not 40. But maybe it is the distinguished look of experience huh?

I agree. I have always been attracted to the older guy. I just hate that sexualy they seem to be less interested. Why can't we have both?
