Universal is running a great deal right now. You can buy your tickets online for 2 Days/2 Parks (access to both parks) for $99.95 plus tax and add one of three options: Kids Free & Three Days Free, Three Additional Days For Free, or Non-Expiring Days. Besides that I would check out travel agents, they can get you deals too.

I just got back from Orlando a week ago. I bought my Universal tickets from there website. I bought two days and got three days free. Which is a good deal, but if I had it to do over again, I'd buy the season pass (not the premium one), it's about the same price and then parking is free (normally $10/day).

The way universal's ticketing works, you buy the ticket online with your credit card. Print out the confirmation number. Take that credit card and confirmation number to a booth right in front of the entrances to Universal or Islands of Adventure. Put the credit card in and punch in the confirmation and voila, you have tickets. I thought it worked pretty well.

It depends on the kind of ticket you are wanting. But I find that Universal or your travel agent usually has the best promotion and you know that the source is reliable. You can purcahse them from eBay or from someone online, but you never know what you are buying is real.

You can also do a timeshare tour which they usually give you free tickets, but I just don't recommend it.
