my brother put car wax on his truck and didnt take it off the hood in time. so the texas heat got to it and now his hood is cloudy white green. it should be dark green. how do u get wax off if its been baked on? u think mr. cleans magix erasers would work?

Dishsoap is the key. Use a good dishwashing soap and wash the car. I use this to strip wax from my car to clay bar it. You may have to use a sponge and some elbow grease if its reallly baked on. But it should do the trick!

Body shop supply place has special stuff that you wipe a car down with...its a pretty serious solvent. You might need to buff it when you are done...definitly wax it again.

all you have to do is rewash the car. the water will soften the wax and you can scrub it off.

Try Palmolive dish soap make sure it remains wet till you rinse.

probably not. try windex, it worked for me.
