Love it!
Especially acoustic guitars. They are so beautiful and add flavor to any song!
But after all that mellow, I need a little rock and roll....Too much mellow and I puke!

There is a time and a place to rock out...and a time for just layin' back and blissing out.
Grew up listening to the likes of Neil Young (who can rock with the best of them) and his easy, gentle strumming and singing.
Same with Joni Mitchell and on and on.
Music is the palette in which you should use as a sound canvas to paint your mood at the moment.
If you're needing to unwind, tune in acoustic/mellow.
If you need to pick up the pace, turn up the metal!

Amazing. Especially after a hard day, to sit back and relax to music to the likes of Elliot Smith, Jeff Bukley, Cat Power, etc, really helps to calm down.

Like all other forms of music, it has an appropriate time and place. I personally like it. It takes more talent to be melodic than it does to be profane and/or loud.

it's okay when i'm really tired and need something soft to "massage" my ear drums, but i prefer rocking on with all the rock out there!
