Its not crazy but the only thing that is high risk is that your baby could be born with down syndrome because of your age after age 35 the risk is very high but I think everything will go fine some of my relatives have had babies at that age Even though im only 24 I know lots about children im a pediatric nurse now i just finished school

I don't think that is crazy at all, as long your body is in the condidtion to handle the pregnancy I think it's admirable and if anyone starts telling you that you will be 60 when your kid os old enough to drive trying to make you feel bad about it, then they are crazy. Be sure to check with your doctor, you may have to go on some vitamins to ensure a safe pregnancy and as soon as possible be tested for anti-Rh in your system and the babies.

I had my first (and only) child when I was about two months shy of my 44th birthday. My son, Jimmy, is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am now 52 years old and Jimmy is 8.
Crazy and bad? NO! It's more like chosen and blessed. God is sending you that child for a purpose. Your job will be to love and nurture the child to prepare him or her to fufill that purpose. Good luck to you!

Congratulations, it is neither crazy nor bad but maybe a little risky. Babies have a better chance of being born with birth defects with moms over 40.

it's not at all bad, it just means you will be 61 years old when the baby grows up and turns 18. Have a Healthy & Happy 9 months.

Absolutley not. However, there is a risk to be born with complications but if you follow the steps of a doctor, everything will be fine. Hey, your not the first one, OK?
Don't worry, everything will be fine if you don't think about it too much.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
