Take off the black (negative cable first. Install the black (negative) cable last. Tools don't matter.

Remove positive first.
You can use metal tools as long as when you're unbolting the positive (red) that you don't ground the tool accidentally by hitting any other portion of the car. If you do you'll be in for a nasty shock. So just use caution when removing the positive cable with metal tools.

Remove negative end first, then positive. Then remove old battery. Put in new battery, positive first, then negative. Doesnt matter if you use metal tools, or else i have been shocked too many times to know it happened. j/k. Red=positive. Black=negative. Good luck

1. REMOVE THE NEGATIVE CABLE FIRST!!!
2. Remove the positive cable second.
3. Remove the battery hold down and lift out.
4. Reinstall in reverse order.

Take the positive lead off first (the red one) and then the negative lead. And no it does not matter if you are using metal bolts.

First you disconnect the red cable then the black and when installing do the opposite.

Make sure you secure the battery also.
Your car musical system may need the pin number reinstalling which you should find in the manual.
