If you truely want a job get used to being interviewed like this-its the way of the world nowadays. Companies know how rough the job market is and they realize that they don't have to "settle" to fill a position anymore. The best thing to remember is you are not doing a company a favor by interviewing for them-they are doing you the favor by interviewing you!! Try to lose the attitude-you won't get anywhere that way!!!

If you really told the interviewer to shove the job up his *** then no, I don't think you will get the job. However companies get ripped off left and right by their employees and they look for honest people to work for them. Not only are employees stealing merchandise but they are also stealing time. Many employees goof off and play games on comuters...chat on their cell phones...etc... I can't say I blame the interview process now a days. Look at all the hostile employees who end up shooting up their work place because their boss says..." sorry have to let you go." So yes it is very important to screen people and if you had a problem with it maybe you have something to hide.

Hmm maybe it's your attitude that they detected in the job interview and wanted to see if it was true or not. Having a bad attitude effects everything , not just your job, but how you live your life. Think about that.

I doubt you'll get the job. Perhaps the company had some serious issues with former employees, so they want to be certain they won't get burned again.

Apparently they wish to employee reliable people for this job and they don't want chimps.
I'd say you have failed. Beware of McDonalds and Burger King. Their qualifications are even more stringent.
