The answer to the question I think you were looking for is no, Americans would not vote a black president in no mattter how good he is or what his credentials are. But then they want to believe they aren't racists. I guarantee you that Tim McVeigh has a greater chance at being president than ANY black person. David Duke almost was elected governor, he is a self admitted racists and former Grand Wizard of the KKK. He has never changed his tune, even while campaining.

Race has nothing to do with the job he is doing. He is doing a kick *** job and thats what matters. Would not matter what race he is as long as he continues to stand strong.
By the way is he not black like Michael Jackson is now?

I don't think America will ever have a black president, and if it does he will be assassinated before he's even sworn in. Anyhow, Bush has done all he can do with this war and continuous threats towards the U.S. I think we need a fresh approach to the problems America is facing now.

I would vote for someone based on their ability to be a ruler not the color of their skin. That's a ridiculous question. But I guess their are still racist people around here
