You can try to get a blood test at your doctor's office. It should be able to tell you whether you're pregnant or not because it is more sensitive and more accurate and will be able to detect any pregnancy hormone circulating in your body. With urine tests, it might be too early for a home pregnancy test and you'll just get a false negative and be pregnant. It does sound like you are having pregnancy symptoms, but as always, know that pregnancy symptoms and premenstrual symptoms are pretty similar. But since you know your body better that any of us here do, if you feel that it is different compared to your normal premenstrual symptoms, then maybe you are indeed pregnant.

Goodluck!

the tests just probably won't work. They need enough of the pregnancy hormone to register. I waited until the day mine was expected and it came up positive right away!( I am not at 7 weeks) I know the wait is unbearable, but you'll probably come up negative and just have to retest then anyway.....most brands you buy have a choice to get a test with more than one test included. This is my standard answer, but it's true. Go to the store or library and get a book called " Taking charge of your fertility" by Toni Weschler. This book made all the difference to me and my husband. It will guide you through all the myths and false information and even help you work through questions like the one you just asked. It will help you chart your month and figure out EXACTLY when you are fertile or not and no more myths or guessing. It's not just about getting pregnant. It's about taking control and knowing your body. If you were properly charting you would already know if you were pregnant or not!

We are in the same boat! I am only a week past ovulation..nausea, sore breasts, you name it. I guess we can't find out for sure for another week. I've also heard that sometimes you can have a "false" period a month before that will make you think you weren't pregnant when you actualyl are. Is there a pssibility that you got pregnant last month but didn't know it?

No it can be not possible. :) conception takes 1-2 days and implantation takes an extra 4-10 days, with four-5 days being lovely uncommon. You are not able to get pregnancy signs until implantation has happened. Sounds to me like you are over thinking matters. Just hold in there. If it happens, it occurs.

You don't start having symptoms until the placenta starts developing. Which in your case it could already be developing and you can take a test now. If you are, it should show up now since you are experiencing all of the symptoms. A positive test will show up after the placenta(which produces the hormone HCG) starts developing.

You can try to ask the ladies at medhelp.org. I have read there that several of the women experienced pregnancy symptoms the next day...and they either have a baby or are expecting one....
