Okay, let me lay out the scenario:

My best "girl" friend- not my fiance, I consider her in a different league, has been acting strangely lately. We have worked together for over a year, we always eat lunch together, she's even in my wedding, and I always go to her for advice. She's married to a great guy whom she seems to love very much.

Lately however, she has stopped speaking to me as much. I figured that she just didn't have anything to say and didn't think too much of it. But she would come speak to someone who sat right next to me and not talk to me at all. I asked her if I had done something that upset her and she said no. This continued happening for 3 weeks.

Yesterday, we went to lunch and she tells me that she had a dream where me and her were making out. I didn't quite know what to say. I have always found her very attractive and she feels the same about me, but we're friends.

What do you think is going on with her and what should I do about it?

Sounds like she might feel funny for having that dream, but she shouldn't. Dreams are just are subconscious working in weird ways. I've read many times before that just because you sleep with/makeout with someone in your dream doesn't mean it's actually something you want to do. It could mean she has a tremendous amount of respect for you. It's also possible she told her hubby about it casually and maybe it upset him and she's backing off to keep their peace. Whatever the case, try to approach her again and ask what's up. If she says the same things, just keep cool and be cordial and friendly. Only time will tell if she'll be back to her usual self with you.

Give it time. Maybe she is confused because of the dream and hence feels weird being with you. Try to assure her that a weird dream need not change anything between you. One cannot take dreams seriously and miss out on something as good as a friensdhip because of this. Try to act as if nothing is amiss, tell her to do the same thing. With time things will be back to normal.

She probably likes you but want to respect her marriage and your soon to be marriage...Maybe the best way to deal with it for her is keeping her distance. There's no doubt that she has some sort of romantic interest in you...If she didn't, the dream wouldn't have effected her and she wouldn't have to distance herself from you...

She ought to easily be quite a possessive man or woman. She will be dealing with alot of pressure from making plans her wedding ceremony. Or she will be attracted to you. both way confrotn her about her performing like this.
