Brillant movie but the book goes into far more detail about the historic facts.

For starters, It's "The Da Vinci Code"....great book, fair movie....work of fiction based on some fact, but mostly theory, not to mention, the premise of Chirst having off-spring is an old idea, hardly original, Dan Brown gets too much credit for having thought it up, but it presents the idea of the discovery of the material in a great way, thats what makes the book so good...

The book is great....haven't seen the movie yet. I think people are reacting way to seriously about this. Come on, if you believe in God and Jesus what the heck is the problem? Are you going to let some book/movie/video game tell you that all that doesn't exist? If you truely believe, what's the problem?

Horror, shock, OH THIS IS SUCH A BRILLIANT THEORY EVEN THOUGH THE AUTHOR SAYS IT'S FICTION, I'M GOING TO BELIEVE IN IT!!!!!!!, curiosity, buy-more-Da-Vinci-Code-related-books (just go to Costco and see how many books are related to the Holy Grail a month ago.)

It is a work of pure fiction. Even the author of the book has said so. But there are some nuts out there that are convinced that it's real when in fact it isn't

Actually, I saw the movie and read the book. I think my overall impression of the book and the movie is it makes one think beyond what we currently know and believe. I try really hard to critically think about all things and not just believe it's so just cause someone said it.

bookwise, I thought it was incredible, I was raised Catholic and always had questions. Haven't seen the movie yet.
