Depends on the kind of wood used to make the wand or stick. Liniseed is always very good for most kind of woods. Lavendar oil is also quite good and it smells nice too.

It really depends on what you would like to accomplish using the wand.
There are several different oils available. If you do not have a specific purpose in mind, you can always use Virgin Olive Oil. This is the most generic.
It would actually be the equivalent of not knowing what color to paint a wall, so you just go with the basic "white" color until you really decided because white goes with everything. The same with the oil. Virgin Olive Olive goes with everything and is generic.
Have a lovely rest of the day.

I guess that you would use the oil that relates to the particular spell you are trying to do (I'm guessing that is what you are using the wand for?), ie Rose oil for Love spells.
But be careful because you don't want to rust your wand. I can't imagine it would work effectively if it got rusted.
Other than that, maybe buy an aromatherapy book is my best suggestion.

Linseed oil works well with almost all wood. Lavender oil works well too, it also relaxes you, which helps if you are anointing the wand or stick for a ritual or something like that.

It depends on what you are annointing it for. Each spell or work may have a different oil. Check your grimmore or try Scott Cunningam's Incense, Oils and Brews. If you're trying to seal the wood, try beeswax and linseed oil mixed. It does a good job and is a natural product. Good luck, dearheart.

The King of Oils is Flying Ointment and its recipe is not for the uninitiated. Even then what is published is mostly garbage and even dangerous. Be careful whom you trust with your precious bodily fluids.

You make your wand you own by applying an intimate bodily secrection to it during ritual. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

You could use Patchouli. I think though that you would find that the oil you are connected to would work the best. Goddess Bless
