they want to be with bad but cant because of the trust I really really want to regain his trust

I'm going through a similar situation because of things I did years ago. They never really trust you again. Not fully anyway. It is always there, waiting for the opportunity to show up and force you to feel guilty about something. I've been going through this for 13yrs. It hasn't gotten any better. Maybe you need to learn from your mistake and move on. I don't know why I stayed,but I wish I hadn't.

You really can't. I had this done to me and I will never trust the other person again. As far as I'm concerned, they can stay away from me permanently
