My Live Updates will download, but they won't install. This began after the Yahoo virus this week. I'm not finding the virus on my computer, but I'm concerned that it's not found because the Update hasn't installed.

Update: None of the fixes worked for us. We finally uninstalled Norton, and installed Norton 2006. This resolved the problem, and no virus was found.

I did the updates and they installed okay
I don't think the virus if you had it , would prevent you from installing

YES I DID HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AT FIRST BUT THEN I GOT THE LIVE UP DATE WORKING NORMAL,,, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING

How to protect yourself from the these viruses:
* Install the latest versions anti-virus software on your computer as soon as possible. These viruses are very new and you should update your anti-virus software as soon as possible.
* If you already have anti-virus software, make sure it is up to date. Most anti-virus companies have posted updates on their Web sites that will combat the PrettyPark and Worm viruses. Some of those sites are listed below.
* If you use Microsoft Word, there aresteps you can take to protect yourself by turning on macro virus detection in your Microsoft Word application.

I've been able to get and install updates since the worm as well. Perhaps try re-booting your system and then try doing your Live Update.
