I am Latino, and I consider myself an Equal- Oppurtunity Hater. I hate everybody, but equally. No, i dont' really hate anyone, But I do treat people equally. Black, White, Latino, Muslim, Asian, European, I don't refer to these people by those names. I go by these:****er/Coon/Shine, Redneck/Trailer Trash/Rich boy, S*ic/Wetbag/Border Hopper/Porkchop, Terrorist/Apu/Osama, Chink, and Pollack. I have friends of all races. My brother is half-black. I am for minorities. I believe Barack Obama will be president soon and would like him to be. I can have a conversation with anyone of any race. I do NOT hate anyone. Am I wrong if an asian person driving in front of me is going so slow that I say "had to be a chink"? Or even I, being a Latino, see another latino trying to steal a car, I say" dumbass mexican or dumbass puerto rican. If I do something stupid, I call my own self one of those names. People might say it's stereotypical, but I don't judge anyone. It's like knowing the genre of a book.

I don't know. I think we all do that to some extent. Pesonally, I have been known to refer to other blacks as ni**ers when they act stereotypical. Whether we'd all like admit it or not, we do it. But, just like you, I am an equal oppurtunity hater. I hate anyone who does something to p*ss me off, or something uncalled for or idiotic. Their race/ ethnicity/ gender really has nothing to do with it whatsoever. Buit no, I don't think you ar a racist.

I don't think you can say that you don't judge anyone if you automatically think someone going slow is Asian. I know a lot of people who use derogatory names like the ones you mentioned who don't consider themselves racist. What I'm curious to know from you, though (and I'm asking seriously, not trying to put you down), is why you feel the need to use them at all? You know names like that upset and enrage people, so why do you use them? Or is that why you use them?
Also, you say that it's like knowing the genre of a book, but that implies that the reason people are different is only because of their heritage, and I just don't agree with that. There are too many other variables to chalk it up to just that.
That being said, I think as humans we all have biases that we're not going to escape. I think it would take a truly evolved person to be 100% free of any sort of racism. There are plenty of people who won't use those words who are total racists. So, calling people names like that doesn't make you a racist, but it is rude.
(And porkchop? Why porkchop?)

Using those names does make you somewhat of a biggot. Even if you refer to yourself that way. The word ni""er is commenly used in my neighboorhood but I don't use it. Staigten up your language and maybe you won't be called a racist. You say your out for minorties, I am out for the right thing, for justice and equall oppurtunities but I am out for the white man or woman as much as the black. Think about being objective.

its definitely stereotyping but this is not generally bad. there is a difference between stereotypes/schemas and prejudice. the former are cognitive shortcuts, they help us organise our world and have info to use as fast as we can. Instead of analysing a person evertime you meet them, you can categorise them according to race, colour, age, sex, political affiliation, religion etc. you then use the atributes of that group on that person. we all do that one way or another. Prejudice on the other hand, is when you think that another social group deserves your scorn and you actually act on that, this has a negative connotation only whereas stereotypes has both neg and positives. once you recognise you r stereotpes, it is important to try to figure out those you think are tru and those which are not.... as I see it you are not really prejudiced towards certain races but you simply use a lot of cognitive shortcuts, trying to know the people concerned is always the better way in the end, I think..Good luck on you endevours

I am mixed with PLENTY of different backgrounds, and I do the same thing in a joking manner...but ONLY with my friends or people I know...they would understand that I am just "talking" and that I am not racist.
I think you are probably perceivd as a racist if you say those things out in public for other people, that don't know you to hear...which could get you in some trouble if the wrong person hears you...hope you know how to fight!:)

well, if its your philosophy in life to put everyone, including yourself down, then you're on the right road.
just think, with your continued attitude (however equal it may be) by the time you leave this world, you'd have contributed nothing positive and the world may even be a better place for the loss of your negativity.
and yes, calling people by inferior names is a form of negativity.
there's a difference between calling a rose a rose and calling a rose a ******* flower.
so no, you may not be officially a 'racist' but you're not much better than one.

Sounds to me like you're a racist prick. To be honest though from what I read you need some serious help. If you're calling yourself those names I would question your sanity.
I'm puerto rican, and native american, my kids are half black. If you said anything like that around my family you would no longer be able to use your tongue. Just be careful where you use that type of language!

Honestly, you can say whatever you like, just don't be surprised when you get shot in the head. Being an a$$hole has been linked to early death in most humans. Everyone says those things in their head, but self preservation states not to linguate them through the mouth.

You don't seem to be a real racist, just awfully confused. You contradict yourself several times.
Keep up the good work of avoiding political correctness. Wisdom will come with age and experience.
