the difference between a CD and mp3 CD is an mp3 CD can hold hundreds of songs and a CD can only hold 80min. of music. the way you make a mp3 CD is you put all your songs on windows media player and it converts it to mp3 then you go to your my music folder and highlight those songs you want then go to file and send it to your CD drive. after all your music is sent there you go to that drive then select write these objects to a CD then insert a CD and it does it. WARNING you cannot do this with iTunes songs because they are not in mp3 format they are in mpeg4 format. you cant play a mp3 CD in a CD player either. sorry.

Audio CDs do not use any kind of compression to store music. MP3 CDs use the MP3 compression, which allows you to store far more songs on a single CD. However, only MP3-compatible CD players (and most, if not all, DVD players) can play them back. If you are burning an audio CD, you should be able to add the CD title and track titles by enabling CD Text in your CD authoring software.

MP3 is a different format that only works in some players. Audio CD works in all CD players. MP3s can also be put on MP3 players and Audio CD files cannot. MP3 is a smaller file because it is less quality than Audio CD. It does contain info about the song as audio CD files do not.

You can hear only few songs i.e. 10 to 15 on audio cd. But you can enjoy 120+ songs on mp3 cd.

Audio cd uses .cda extension and can only fit around 15-20 songs on a cd.

MP3 uses a more advanced digital compression that can fit around 150 songs on a CD in perfect clarity or can be adjusted to your liking for playback (128 kbps, 164kbps, 312 kbps - the higher the number the bigger the song and better quality but still can fit much more than a regualr audio cd)

Many cd players and stereos and car radios (like mine) can play mp3 cds.

You need a ID3 Tag editor to change the information on a mp3 song - like artist, music type, album name, year, etc.

My car radio can display ID3 tags so I can edit any song to appear how I want.
