This is going to sound REALLY STRANGE but I learned this secret from Bobby Brown on E! True Stories, and you know he parties down with Whitney Houston.

Anyway, Bobby Brown had to stop at the store to buy Preparation H to put on the bags under his eyes!

I thought the idea was hysterical, but... a few months later I had to try it because I had HUGE BAGS under my eyes one Monday morning I had a meeting with my boss. I decided I had to try it or else call in sick. And -amazing- it works like a charm!

Ooh! I found a video. Putting the link below...

Depends on your age! If you are not too old and its just occasionally you get dark circles, try buying Clorophil with aloe from health food store and pour a tsp in yr o.j. and drink that twice a day to cleanse your blood stream. Clorophyl has the light and life giving main ingredients for a body to be oxigenated well.

Dark circles under eyes have to do with lack of sleep, too much smoke or drugs, age, bad diet.

So if you smoke and won't quit, that's taking away your oxygen from yr skin too. Buy a nice cover up eye potion like ERNO LASZLO Multi phase firming concealer. Its a small tube that has the greatest eye concealer (and also works on blemishes or sun spots on face).
It has a moisturizer so that it doesnt dry out your eye area and a little goes a long way. You can appply it after you have dabbed on eye moisturizer like Borghese's Eye Treatment that illuminates and softens lines in the eye area.

When you work with concealers, use a small very soft palette brush (the ones for eye shadows workgood but I use the one to apply make up and the very fine soft hairs of the make up brush make it so that you can totally vanish the dark circles without leaving traces or marks that would show.

ALWAYS APPLY CONCEALERS AFTER YOU HAVE VERY WELL MOISTURIZED THE EYE AREA and blot any excess concealer so you dont look like a rackoon!

A good way to hide it is to buy foundation a shade lighter than you usually do and put it on the eye bags. I've done this several times and it works great! Of course it doesn't eliminate the problem...

You need to rest, sleep plenty, also worrying and stress causes that as well.
Try using tea bags that have been used already, put them in the Refrigerator, when cool use them at nights for 15-20 mins.

eye bags are diff than dark circle but as u said for dark circles:
i will tell u what are the reasons of that and i will show u the way to get ride of it:
1-lack of sleep(as u said u sleep enough 8 hrs per day..)...
2-smoking(its better if u decrease the number of cigarette u smoke)
3-nutrition(have to drink 7 glasses of water per day...2 piece of fruits including ur routine foods)
4-stress
5-glasses(better to use contact lense)
6- watching the monitor(every one hr let ur eyes rest for 5 mins)
7-rubbing ur eyes alot....make ur little vein broken(try to dont rub ur eyes alot and use warm pad on ur eyes at night if during the day u rubed them)
8-anemia(u have to ask ur G.P ab that and by blood test u can find that out),like when u dont have enough Iron ...u can use some ferrus sulfate tablets per night(but just wih ur G.P order
9- lack of Zinc(one tablet of Zn per night)
10-Genetic(here is no way just u can cover it by cosmetic brands)
