Yes, most religions believe that there is a place that pets go that can be viewed from heaven itself. Heaven is for human souls but God realized that there are pets that meant a lot to us so it is sort of like looking at them through a window and knowing that they are always there. That way, the pets can play together without all the distractions of being in heaven itself and do the pet things pet love. Unbaptized babies that go to limbo can go there and play with the pets too.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Who can be 100% sure, but I know there are animals in heaven casue the Bible says the Lamb will Lay down with the Lion, and when Christ returns he will be riding a white horse, so I would say that there will be animals in heaven.

That depends on your own beliefs.
Personally, I believe they do, and they have their own little spot in heaven that they go to.
You could also think of Hindi, and possibly other, beliefs of reincarnation, and that some wayward human souls can go into pets. So, then it's also possible that your pet will be reborn in another body at some time.
Again, just depends on what you believe. :)

YES! PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS!!!!!
and I am NOT a religious person.

Last year I had a dream that my husband was at our front window and he turned to me and said "someone is bringing you something" Our door opened and my grandfather (as a young man) walked into our house with a battered card board box. In the dream I turned to my husband and said "that man looks like my grandpa" Then I looked at the front door which had been left open and the dog that grandfather had for 17 years (a black german shepard named Kirt) was sitting just outside the door and he made eye contact with me and then I woke up.
My grand father had been dead for 12 years.
The dream kind of nudged me for a few days so I told my sister about it (thank god or no one would believe my story)
A week later my mother was visiting me and she brought me a "frame" that my grandfather was working on before he died and she found it in he basement and thought I might like to finish it because I'm artistic. Well it wasn't a frame it was a halfway complete Christmas shadow box with little furniture and decorations that he made himself - IN A BEAT UP CARDBOARD BOX! I asked her when she found it and it was the day I had my dream. The detail is amazing and no one knew it was buried in the basement because when you looked into the box it was in, it just looked like and old sort of frame and junk. Another sister told me later that she thinks he was making for me because I had seen another one he made for an aunt and I loved it. But he died before he could give it to me.

My grandfather came to my dream to let me know that this is important to him and the dog came along to let me know "yeah, it's really him - take this serious"
I finished the shadow box and it's my prized possession.

Kirt is in heaven with my grandpa.

No joke!

Late in my mother's life, we would have some wonderful conversations (I am a son). One day, she said to me that she had a confession to make. I asked 'And what have you been up to now mum'. She replied 'I keep thinking that when I die, I don't really want to see your father, I just want to see all my old cats and dogs'....................... For her sake, I pray to God, that they do have souls and that they are all now happy together in Heaven.
